I would like the facility to use this type of comment box without the Creative Commons notice. To be able to input multiple lines of text without having to install and launch Inkscape.

The current simple title editor is very restricted in terms of characters that can be entered. I'm not arguing for increasing the complexity, just a slightly greater range of title options.

It might be related to the format of videos you are using. Try just using some JPEGs on the timeline, and see if everything stays in sync. Feel free to file a bug if you can figure out how to reproduce this behavior. Thanks!

fromlugdunum: If I understand your question - you can change the time how long title is shown by resizing it on a timeline. Just like you would resize video clip.

Check this screencast from 1 minute 20 seconds. Just do the same for title. (I hope my advice is correct, I don't have OpenShot available right now).

Inkscape is loosely integrated. It's hard-coded into OpenShot right now, but it would be easy to let the user configure that. Thanks!

It's like you're reading end-users' minds. That's probably because of your style of developing OpenShot - "eating your own dog food".

Addition of CC-template is nice - it lowers the barrier to properly attribute copyright/left owner (and to license video work under CC). Excellent.

Inkscape "integration" makes title editor even more flexible. I love when software doesn't try to reinvent wheel. Is this integration written so that it would be possible to add choice of SVG editor? Question I'm trying to ask is: how tightly it has to be Inkscape and is it seen that there could be alternative SVG editors?

I'm also very much pro simplicity and don't want to see too much clutter when sensible defaults work best. So what I write above isn't my feature request. ;) It's something I think could become FAQ.

I'm going to update to latest Openshot and try these new features on Ubuntu 9.10. I'm getting video editing fever because of OpenShot.
